Join us on a tour led by the temple abbot to learn about Thai Buddhism, queer identity and living in Wimbledon!
In this special pink dot LDN visit, we pop down to Wimbledon and the Buddhapadipa temple. There we will be taken on a tour of the complex by the abbot, learn more about Thai Buddhism, have the opportunity to observe and even participate in an offering ritual, and talk about how the space is one which intersects with Thai, British and queer identity.
The event is free, but please bring a donation which you can contribute to the ceremony, Items like food (jasmine rice, vegetables, fruits, eggs or tinned sardines) or toiletries are welcome!
Places are very limited, so please register to avoid disappointment and so we can manage numbers.
Meet at the entrance to the temple on 14 Calonne Road, Wimbledon at 9:30AM.
