Discover the art and science of lens-free photography in this hands-on Pinhole Camera Workshop with local photographer Nick Dvoracek. Learn how pinhole cameras (simple devices that use a tiny hole instead of a lens) capture beautifully soft, dreamlike images using basic principles of light and shadow. Nick will guide you through the history, mechanics, and creative potential of this unique photographic method. No reservation necessary.
Participants will not be making a pinhole camera. However, tips on how to make you're own will be provided. Also, participants may bring a body cap for their camera and Nick will modify it to mimic a pinhole effect.
