Pine Pruning Demonstration - November 7

Learn how experts prune pines to achieve the look they have in spaces like Portland Japanese Garden!
In this demonstration, Pete Putnicki, Japanese Pruning Specialist and former Senior Gardener at Seattle Japanese Garden, will discuss the maintenance of pine trees. Participants will experience a tour of the Garden focusing on pine trees, followed by a lecture and demonstration focused on candling, needling, growth regulation, and pruning techniques. Participants will also have a chance to experience pine needling themselves with an instructor guiding them along the way.
Tickets are available to the general public now.
