Pinata Workshop

Fun for the whole family or a creative day out with friends, this enchanting workshop will explore the colorful journey and history of the Piñata. Explore paper mache as you work on the construction of your own mini Piñata. You will build dexterity and color dynamics while working with the colorful tissue paper, and take your finished creation home. Material and instructions provided by Arizona artist Rafael Gutierrez.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, the workshop is part of the IMPRINT: Viva la Cultura exhibit at the Arts HQ Gallery, featuring artwork from local Latino and Chicano-American artists representing their vibrant culture. As you work on your Piñata, you will be inspired by the amazing artwork around you.
