This is also an event where we raise funds to allow us to provide scholarships to students who want to continue lessons but may need a little help. Last year we provided $6193 worth of scholarships to a total of 8 students who have a variety of needs from temporary financial difficultly to cancer. We had some generous donations from Tribe City Church as well as EMS Providers and Bill Cherry. We are so grateful for the donations that helped make a difference for these students.
We still have a need for scholarships and every year we do this event to help raise funds to be able to continue to say YES to students learning to LOVE music. Music has been so important to us and we want to be able to give that gift to EVERYONE.
So how can YOU participate?
1. ATTEND: All those who attend will purchase tickets for the raffle, games, and concessions. The ticket sales go directly into our scholarship fund! Also, support our Local Vendors by purchasing local items! We have Cookies, 3d printed fun, jewelry, hot sauce and more!
For those who are attending, Parking will be on the South Side of the building, West of the fountain in the middle of the plaza or in the parking lot to the two buildings to the east of us.
2. DONATE A RAFFLE ITEM
In the past we've had some great donations from Guitars to Wine Baskets and everything in between. If you have something of value that is new, or you own a business and want to promote your products, this is a great opportunity! You can sign up to Donate an Item by contacting us at 623 349-4980 or [email protected]. All donations must be received by October 15 to allow us time to set up the donations to be viewed and raffled on for the week of October 18-25, 2025. The raffle items will be drawn on Monday October 27, 2025.
5. BE A VENDOR!
We have some amazing small businesses here in our Surprise Academy community and we want to give you the opportunity to get the word out! We ask that our Vendors have a game and prize for the trick or treaters in addition to whatever they are selling. Last year we had some really great vendors!! There is a $5 vendor fee which goes directly to the Scholarship fund. You can sign up to be a vendor by contacting us at 623 349-4980 or [email protected].
5. FINANCIAL DONATION.
I know it's a busy season and there are a lot of events that day. If you are unable to attend but still want to help, you could donate funds directly to our Fundraising Page on GoFundMe.
