Class cost is $8 and can be paid by cash or credit card before class. Please bring your mat and water bottle. All other equipment provided. If you have not signed a waiver for pilates or yoga, please arrive a few minutes early to complete the form.
A 45min total-body mat pilates class with traditional and modern moves using props such as magic ring, pilates ball, yoga blocks, resistance bands, 2 pound weights! We will use 8 to 12 moves that will be performed with 2 rounds of either sets or 45 seconds to 1 min. This class is designed to create long lean muscles, stability, core, strength training and for all levels!
We are thrilled to have Amanda Maza mother to 5 kids that range from 3yrs to 9yrs teaching our Pilates class! She is a certified Barre, Spin, Pilates with Kinetics, HIIT, group and strength fitness instructor and currently working on her PT with ISSA. Amanda accidentally became and Instructor at a fitness gym where she worked! She had lost most of her baby weight from her 5th child (a little over 60 pounds) and was ask on the spot to teach a spin class because the Instructor wasn't available! She enjoys teaching and loves the physical, mental, and emotional benefits! She also enjoys teaching children and welcomes them in the class with their parents. She enjoys helping"newbies" ease into a healthy and active lifestyle, because she's been there and knows it can be challenging! She designs all of her class platforms and enjoys making them fun and challenging! She is also currently an instructor at Elevate Studios on Bank Street.
