Pilates Foundations with Certified Instructor Gina Regalia:
Join us in the RBG for this special Pilates Foundations Pop-up! This 50 min Mat class is for those with little to no experience with Pilates. In class, students will learn foundational pilates principles through breath, centering, and alignment. This class is designed to flow at beginner’s pace but can still be challenging for those who are versed in the practice and eager to refine their movements under the guidance of an instructor. Pilates develops core strength, improves mobility, and can help reduce body pain through controlled, fundamental movements. Gina is generously donating her time so that all ticket sales go directly to the Garden! Class is open to ages 13 and up. All minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Attendees must have:
Completed Liability & Injury Waiver
Yoga Mat (5-10mm)
Grip Socks
Semi-fitted activewear

About the Instructor
In her late 30s, Gina developed chronic injuries & pain stemming from overuse of specific muscle groups due to decades of long distance running. She became curious and tried various methodologies to avoid injuries – and that’s where Pilates took center stage. Gina’s dedicated Pilates practice activated, rebalanced, and strengthened all her muscles in a dynamic way. Gina was so thrilled by her results that she decided to become an Instructor. Her mission is to educate, inspire, and energize clients so that they may keep participating in all the things they love IRL. Gina holds a Masters in Education from Dominican University in San Rafael, CA. She received her Instructor Certification through the Mighty Pilates Teaching Program in 2025. Gina can also be found in your local Pilates studios in Danville, Lafayette, and San Rafael.
