Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is a high-energy psychedelic funk jam band from Baltimore, Maryland, known for their infectious grooves and feel-good live shows. Formed in 2009 by college friends Greg Ormont and Jeremy Schon, the band has built a devoted following known as “The Flock” through constant touring and their signature mix of funk, rock, and improvisation. With albums like Psychology and Perspective and their self-hosted festival Domefest, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong have become a cornerstone of the modern jam-band scene—celebrated for their musicianship, humor, and unwavering commitment to spreading positivity through music.
Lotus is an American instrumental jam band formed in 1999, blending elements of electronic, funk, jazz, and rock into a seamless, dance-driven sound. Known for their intricate musicianship and immersive light shows, Lotus has become a staple of the live jam scene, captivating audiences with their genre-bending performances and improvisational energy. Over the years, they’ve released acclaimed albums like Nomad, Hammerstrike, and Free Swim, solidifying their reputation as innovators in the world of livetronica and experimental groove.
