Pierre Bensusan – The Infinite Guitar Tour 2026
French guitarist, vocalist, and composer Pierre Bensusan is known as "Mister DADGAD." He's spent five decades reshaping what a solo acoustic guitar can do.
He won the Independent Music Award for his live album "Encore." Guitar Player Magazine readers voted him Best World Music Guitarist. He took the Rose d'Or at Montreux for his debut album.
Steve Vai released three of his albums on Favored Nations. Michael Hedges wrote a song named after him. He recently collaborated with Donny Osmond on the album "Start Again."
Since his first shows in 1974, Bensusan has sold half a million albums and played thousands of concerts, solo and in collaboration. His guitar of choice is a multi-shell Lowden, tuned to open DADGAD, played with a technique that's entirely his own.
