Young guitar-slinger who has made a splash in the Blues world ... and he's IUP local!The Pierce Dipner Band is an internationally recognized blues outfit led by the talented multi-instrumentalist Pierce Dipner from Pittsburgh, PA. A blues prodigy since childhood and current IUP student, Pierce has captivated audiences across the U.S. and abroad with his unique blend of blues, rock, and soul. The band has performed at top festivals including the New Orleans Cigar Box Guitar Festival, Pittsburgh Blues and Roots Festival, and TD Kitchener Blues Festival in Canada, as well as venues in Memphis, Texas, and beyond. Pierce has opened for and shared the stage with major artists like Eric Gales and Davy Knowles, and his debut album Goin' Back reached the top of the blues charts and earned a spot as a finalist for Best Self-Produced CD at the 2023 International Blues Challenge.
