Our Piecing 101 Workshop will cover precision cutting, accurate seam allowances, and methods for achieving crisp points and perfectly matched seams. Participants will explore a variety of traditional and modern piecing techniques, including strip piecing & chain piecing.
Discover the art of turning fabric scraps into stunning quilt blocks in this engaging and resourceful workshop. Perfect for quilters who love variety and creative freedom, this hands-on class explores techniques for effective color placement, value contrast, and block construction using scraps or how to utilize their stash. We’ll focus on how to maintain cohesion in a quilt while celebrating the charm and character of mismatched fabrics. Bring your scraps, your sewing machine, and a sense of adventure.
Cost to attend is $15 for Red River Quilters Members & $40 for non-members.
