Pieces of Wonder | Puppet Festival Mississauga 2027
About this Event
One ticket. More than six experiences. A world of puppetry!
Make puppetry part of your March Break plans! Join us on March 13 or 14 at the spacious Small Arms Inspection Building for a family event featuring live performances, a film, an exhibition and hands-on puppet making.
Meet puppets and artists from Korea, France, Canada and beyond, and enjoy a selection of performances from around the world. Each brings a different style and story to the programme, giving you plenty to watch, talk about and enjoy together.
See an exhibition of moving automata puppets up close and meet the artist who will explain how they work. Watch an award-winning puppetry film, take a break for food and drinks, and join a puppet-making workshop. You’ll make your own puppet and take it home—ready for its next performance!
For families looking for a children’s activity that combines fun and education, the programme offers more than a seat in the audience. Children can watch professional artists, ask questions, work with their hands and try out their own ideas.
Why book a ticket? You get more than six experiences in one visit, without having to choose just one show or plan several separate outings. With different performances and activities on the programme, there’s plenty of variety for curious kids and their grown-ups.
Choose March 13 or 14, bring the family, and spend some of your March Break watching, making and enjoying puppetry together.
