cOsmO | Puppet Festival Mississauga 2027
About this Event
Two curious creatures. A strange new world. Plenty to explore.
This March Break, join us at Puppet Festival Mississauga for cOsmO, a playful puppetry performance for children ages three and up and their families.
Two creatures from the cosmos arrive in unfamiliar surroundings. They investigate sounds and textures and meet creatures big and small, making sense of their new environment through playful encounters.
Combining puppetry, movement and clowning, cOsmO tells its story without words. Young audiences can follow the characters through their gestures, reactions and curiosity, with no dialogue to keep up with.
Created by Théâtre Motus from Canada and Núbila Teatro from Mexico, this family event brings two companies together for a performance made for young children.
If you’re planning a children’s activity that combines fun and education, cOsmO encourages close observation and imaginative thinking through the characters’ explorations. Their interest in unfamiliar sounds, textures and creatures gives children plenty to notice—and something to talk about on the way home.
A ticket offers you and your child an hour of live theatre to enjoy together. It’s a lovely March Break outing for parents or grandparents, especially with little ones who are curious about everything around them.
