GRACE BUILDS AN ALMOST-PERFECT DOG
Grace can’t have a real dog, so she takes matters into her own hands. She builds a robot dog named Kit!
Grace codes him to behave like the perfect dog. Kit follows her instructions perfectly.
He rolls over perfectly, every time.
He plays fetch perfectly, every single time.
But Grace soon discovers that maybe following the rules perfectly doesn’t make the perfect pet . . .
Great for aspiring builders and coders, GRACE BUILDS AN ALMOST-PERFECT DOG is a tender tale about the power of friendship and determination.

POO PILE ON THE PRAIRIE
Did you know that entire tiny habitats can form on a pile of poo? In the prairies of North America, bison roam the land, and their poo becomes an important building block for diverse prairie ecosystems. It fertilizes the soil, spreads seeds, and houses and feeds hundreds of tiny grassland species, which in turn feed birds and small mammals, which then attract bigger animals, and the cycle goes on! With snappy, funny text and lush illustrations, this book invites curious readers to explore a tiny ecosystem that’s truly abuzz with life.

PEDAL PUSHER
In 1894, when two men bet that a woman could never bicycle around the world, as a man had done, Annie set out to prove them wrong, despite not knowing how to ride a bike.
Dressed in a long skirt, she began her journey in Boston. It wasn’t easy, but Annie never gave up. Her adventure brought her attention in every place she visited along the way, and she loved it all. She told many stories--about hunting tigers, dodging bullets, socializing with royalty, and serving time in a Japanese prison--and some of them were probably not true. But she did ride all the way around the world. And she changed the way that the world thought about what women were capable of doing.
Filled with captivating illustrations of the incredible globe-spanning journey, this celebratory picture book tells the story of an unsung feminist icon, the marvelous and resilient Annie Cohen Kopchovsky.
