Join Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County for a hands-on pickling workshop on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the NYS Fairgrounds Home & Garden Center in the Wegmans Demonstration Kitchen.
Participants will learn how to safely make refrigerator pickles and water bath pickles, with hands-on instruction and a water bath canning demonstration. Everyone will take home educational resources, recipes, and jars of both refrigerator and water bath pickles.
Perfect for summer cookouts, stretching your food budget, and preserving a big cucumber harvest.
