About this Event
Nashville, it's time to settle this on the court.
PickleMadness is a 32-team mixed doubles pickleball tournament presented by Hyde's Hail Mary, Pause Nashville, and [solidcore] — benefiting the Cure Alzheimer's Fund (curealz.org). Whether you've been drilling third-shot drops for months or you just learned what a kitchen is last week — if you can hold a paddle and bring a partner, you're in.
HERE'S THE DEAL
→ 32 teams. Mixed doubles. 2 players per team. One champion.
→ Each team must have one male and one female player. Two females is also permitted.
→ Every team plays at least 3 games — guaranteed.
→ Pool play seeding followed by a single-elimination bracket.
→ Two elimination brackets — every team keeps playing after pool play.
→ Side-out scoring to 11, win by 2, hard cap at 15.
→ Games are ~20 minutes. The whole tournament wraps by early afternoon.
WHAT YOUR ENTRY FEE GETS YOU
→ Minimum 3 games, up to 6 if you make the finals
→ Hyde's Hail Mary hydration stations & product tasting tent (21+)
→ Water and hydration provided all day
→ Pause Nashville recovery & plunge station
→ [solidcore] giveaways & activation tent
→ Prizes for the top teams in both brackets
→ Awards for Best Team Spirit, Best Dressed, Comeback Kings/Queens, and more
→ A legitimate excuse to be competitive on a Saturday morning
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
→ Your partner (register as a mixed doubles team — 1 male + 1 female, or 2 females)
→ Your own paddle
→ Court shoes (no black-soled shoes on the courts)
→ Water bottle
→ Sunscreen — we're outside all morning
→ Your A-game or at least your B+ game
THE FINE PRINT

→ Each ticket = 1 team (2 players). Both players register under one ticket.
→ Teams must be mixed doubles — one male and one female player.
→ Both players must sign the PickleMadness liability waiver before tournament day. You'll receive the waiver link after registration.
→ Skill levels welcome across the board. We seed pools to keep things competitive and fair.
→ Rain date TBD. If weather forces a cancellation, registered teams will be notified and given the option to transfer to the rain date or receive a full refund.
