This structured, pickleball-based singles social is designed to help people meet in a relaxed, low-pressure environment. The focus is on social over sport. You do not need to be competitive. You do not even need to be experienced.

Structured rotations ensure everyone has the opportunity to meet and play with multiple participants throughout the event. The format removes awkward open-play dynamics and creates a balanced, welcoming atmosphere.

Optional free 30-minute coaching is available at 2:30 PM for newer players who want a quick introduction before play begins at 3:00 PM.

After play concludes at 5:00 PM, participants are invited to an optional second-location happy hour. This is an informal follow-up to the event and is open to everyone who attended.

Following the event, attendees may opt in to a post-event matching form to express interest in reconnecting with someone they met.

Paddles and balls are provided.

Registration required. No walk-ins.

Rather than open registration, we use a short application process to:

• Maintain a balanced group
• Keep the overall ratio within our target range
• Ensure a comfortable and welcoming experience
• Keep total capacity limited to 32 participants

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. If selected, you will receive an email with payment details to confirm your spot. Payment confirms registration.

This structure allows us to deliver a higher-quality event at a low cost.

• Men: $20

Gateway Smash believes that love is love, and we welcome people of all identities. This specific event is currently structured and marketed for straight participants to keep the format simple for its first run.
