Learn the principles of display for your product or services, in order to attract more customers to your shop, stall, trade fair stand or showcase.Event details
We’ll take you through the fundamental rules and guidelines of display including balance, space, focal points, colour, sight lines, grouping, planning, signage, tools of the trade as well as much more. Accompanied by an inspirational PowerPoint which includes many visual examples, both good and bad, our presenter will of course be doing demonstrations throughout too. In addition there will be the opportunity for a little hands-on experience, practicing basic grouping techniques learnt from the presentation earlier. Delegates will leave fired up to make changes within their own business, also receiving a workbook which will be a useful reminder. This is suitable for anyone who needs to display products or services, in a retail environment, a market stall, a trade fair or a showcase. You will leave with new skills and renewed enthusiasm for attraching new customers through excellent display. This is one of 2 sessions on the same day - please only book the one you can attend. Preference will be given to Pickering area businesses, in the event of a waiting list, thanks to the UKSPF funded towns project from North Yorkshire Council in partnership with the FSB, but the course is open to book for any North Yorkshire based business.
