🎠The Return of King Idomeneo – A Mixed Precipitation Pickup Truck Opera!Join Mixed Precipitation as we celebrate 17 years of outdoor summer fun with The Return of King Idomeneo — a joyful mash-up of Mozart’s opera and 1950s doo-wop, set in mid-century America and performed from the bed of a blue pickup truck!
This fan-favorite adaptation brings the epic tale of General Idomeneo, victorious from the Trojan War, to life with a quirky twist: Greek gods, sewage monsters, and a whole lot of musical flair. Expect arias, girl groups, chorus numbers, and unexpected fun — all in a 75-90 minute outdoor spectacle that’s perfect for all ages.
