Each month, we feature a standout student pianist, selected from the studios of acclaimed jazz educators, performing alongside world-renowned pianist Prof. Tal Cohen.

Experience an evening of jazz, mentorship, and community. Enjoy two unique sets: Prof. Tal Cohen sets the stage from 6–9 PM, followed by a rising student star performing solo from 9–11 PM.

About the Initiative

The Collegiate Jazz Artist Initiative provides upper-level undergraduate and graduate jazz pianists the chance to perform live, learn from top professionals, and connect with Miami’s vibrant music community. Supported by The Betsy Hotel, The Betsy Community Fund at The Miami Foundation, and the Jorge Perez Family Foundation CreARTE Program.
