PhunXue and Headspring

PhunXue is a high vibe original funk and soul band based in Asheville, NC. Known for funky keys, tight grooves, dynamic horns and inspiring vocals, PhunXue delivers dance-floor–ready sets that keep the audience moving and grooving all night.

Headspring is the jamtronica project headed by Flint Blade, who weaves sonic textures from across the galaxy to create undeniable grooves with the rare Chapman Stick - a unique guitar/bass hybrid played by two-handed tapping, designed in 1969 California. Since 2019 Flint Blade & Headspring have been swirling it all together: psychedelic funk, dub reggae, jazz and world music culminate into an uplifting dance floor experience for humans of every kind. Based in south Florida, Flint tours nationally while performing on festival stages, ecstatic dance floors and wherever music lives.
