Curious about what Ph*rm*cy residency at IWK is really like? Come join us for Sweet Talk 🍬, a relaxed in-person evening for Ph*rm*cy students, new graduates, and new practitioners who want a closer look at the IWK Ph*rm*cy Residency Program.
This “speed dating” style event gives you the chance to go beyond the application details and hear directly from the preceptors who make the learning experience happen. IWK Ph*rm*cy preceptors will rotate between tables to share what their clinical practice looks like, how they got to where they are, what mentorship looks like at IWK, and how they support learners as they build confidence and grow into future clinical pharmacists.
Each preceptor will rotate between tables to share their experience, answer questions, and connect with attendees. And yes, sweet treats will be provided! 🍫🍪🍩
Each registrant will be assigned to a table, and sample “starter” questions will be provided to help get the conversation going. There will also be a door prize from Peace by Chocolate. 🍫
Doors open at 4:30 PM, and the event will run from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Please reserve your spot by registering and completing the registration questions so we can plan for seating, refreshments, and event materials.

Directions to the Parker Reception Room:
Enter through the Women’s Building entrance, located at the corner of University Avenue and Robie Street. Turn left at the security desk. Turn left again at the next hallway. The Parker Reception Room will be at the end of that hallway.
