1. Open to all youth who are otherwise eligibleto participate in LCYLS.
i. Age Divisions:
ii. Peewee (at least5 years old & not in the 3rd Grade)
iii. Junior (3rd-5thGrader)
iv. Intermediate (6-8thGrader)
v. Senior (9-12th Grader)
2. Entry Drop Off &Deadline:
· Entry Deadline,Saturday, April 4, 2026 by 6:00pmat Leon County Expo Center
· Entry Fee is$5/print
· Drop Off Times:
· March 30-April 2, 2026 from 8:00am-4:30pm at Leon CountyExtension Office (113 WestMain St. Centerville, TX 75833 on 3rd Floor) (Extension Office CLOSED on GoodFriday)
· April 4, 2026 from 4:00-6:00pm at Leon CountyExpo Center (Must be entered by 6:00pm)
3. Photo Entry Requirements:
· Consist of 8X10 Prints, not matted or framed.
· Contestants may enter ONE printper category.
· Categories are:
· Life on the Farm
· Livestock
· Farm Humor
· Showtime
4. Judging:
· Photos will be judged using the Texas 4-H Photography Score Sheet
· Judges will be local/area photographers who have participated in Centerville FuntierDays and/or Jewett FallFrolic photography contests
5. Awards & Display of Photos:
· Awards & Photoswill be on display duringLCYLS from Tuesday-Friday.
· Results will be emailed to all contestants and will be posted on social media.
· There will not be a formal photography awards ceremony.
· Awards & Photosmay be picked up at the conclusion of LCYLS Sale on FridayNight or on Saturdayduring clean up or the following week at the Leon County Extension Office.
· Photography becomes the property of the Leon County YouthLivestock Show and may be usedfor future marketing and promotional purposes.
