ℹ️ WHAT
Join creative facilitator Jj Fadaka and photographer Sam Rutherford for this second art workshop exploring images of resistance and activism in North Edinburgh alongside images from the National Galleries exhibition resistance: https://www.nationalgalleries.org/exhibition/resistance
Through collage and photomontage artwork - small and large scale - we'll explore and share our ideas about resistance past and present, and how it shapes our lives and culture
ℹ️ WHO
This workshop is for all people living in the locality of North Edinburgh Arts and is part of our ongoing collaboration with Royston Wardieburn's Art & Culture group and the National Galleries, to explore the history and positive impact of protest in North Edinburgh, and to develop new artworks and events together.

ℹ️WHAT COMES NEXT?:
Participants can continue developing their work through sessions with the Art For Grown Ups group at NEA on Wednesdays (11:00 – 2:00), and our September Third Thursday Trip to Out of the Blue Print (18th Sept). There will be an exhibition of the results of this collaboration at The Portrait Gallery in November this year!
