DIT: Iain Irving: Artist Talk

"In life, I like to do DIY (do it yourself) but I enjoy it more when I DIT (do it together). Life being work, play and being with others. These others can be lovers, friends, family or just people you’ve met. Sharing life’s tasks make for a more joyous personal feeling and outcome… mostly."

Iain was born in Edinburgh in 1961. He studied product design and later on achieved an MPhil. Mostly, he has worked in teams in his roles in galleries and academia. He has independently curated a number of exhibitions which always required collaboration and compromise.
