Photography Portrait Workshop with Mohamed Hassan

Carmarthenshire photographer Mohamed Hassan will host a portrait workshop at the gallery open to those of any experience! A photographer who is renowned for his sensitive portraits and deep landscapes will be handing the camera over and sharing his skills on how to work with people in such a setting. Definitely one where lots will be learnt! Only 12 spaces so don't miss out!
Mohamed Hassan studied photography at Carmarthen School of Art before completing an MA in Documentary Photography at the University of South Wales in 2023. He has exhibited at Ffotogallery, Oriel Davies, and the National Portrait Gallery as well as internationally. Most recently his work was acquired by the National Museum of Wales and the UK Government Art Collection. His first book, My Hidden Room has been nominated for Aperture First Book Award 2025.
