Photographer Paul Bannick on a Year in the Life of Woodpeckers

Join Whatcom Land Trust, North Cascades Institute, and the North Cascades Audubon Society for an engaging presentation by award-winning Photographer Paul Bannick based on his new book, Woodpecker: A Year in the Life of North American Woodpeckers. Through dramatic images and rich stories, Bannick reveals the lives of woodpeckers over four seasons. His exploration of these impactful birds from the Arctic through southern Mexico details their shared behaviors as well as some surprising exceptions and adaptations. A limited amount of free parking is available in the lot behind the building. Street parking is available as well, and free after 6 p.m. The venue has a wheelchair accessible entrance via the rear (west side) basement entrance.
