Photobooks: The American Landscape, past and present

Join library staff and Senior Curator of Photography, April Watson, as we use the Spencer Art Reference Library’s collection of landscape photobooks to extend themes found in the current exhibition American Prospects and Landscape Photography, 1839 to Today. The exhibition, primarily focused on the seminal work of Joel Sternfeld, includes a checklist of contemporary and influential photographers who, along with Sternfeld, shaped how we think about the American landscape.
