Join the Bronx Documentary Center for an evening with documentary photographer and photojournalist Liam Kennedy as he presents his debut monograph, , published by Fall Line Press (@falllinepress).

Over the course of a decade, Kennedy rode more than 65,000 miles across the United States on a chopper he built with friends, documenting the people, places, and culture surrounding America's motorcycle community. Shakedown is an intimate portrait of a subculture often misunderstood, exploring themes of freedom, identity, craftsmanship, and life on the open road.

Following the presentation, Kennedy will discuss the making of the project, the challenges of documenting a close-knit community over many years, and the process of transforming the work into a photobook. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
