Join the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and the Wolf River Conservancy for a free, hands-on smartphone photography workshop exploring conservation and the art of the landscape.
From the earliest days of photography, images have played a powerful role in documenting nature, raising environmental awareness, and inspiring conservation. This workshop dives into that rich connection, then puts it into practice.
Led by University of Memphis Professor Emeritus David Horan, participants will:
- Learn how photography supports conservation efforts
- Gain practical smartphone photography skills
- Explore and shoot in scenic Overton Park
- Receive guidance perfect for beginners and experienced creators alike
