Photo Walk at The Lake
About this Event
Join us in August for our Photo Walk at The Lake, lead by Alyssa Marzolf DeWitt (@alyssamdewittphoto) and sponsored by revolog (@revolog_films).
Free and open to all levels of photographers, film or digital, these photowalks are a great way to build community, trade tips, ask questions and get some great shots while exploring The Flower City.
We will meet at Moon Beach / Westpoint Marina on Braddock Bay (105 E Manitou Rd) around 6:15pm. The walk will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
First 10 participants to show up (with a 35mm film camera!) will receive a free roll of revolog film.
This event is also the Photo City Photo Club's monthly walk for their Community Color Photo Project. The color of August will be blue. (@photocityphotoclub)

SRPS Photo Walk Guidelines
General: All photo walks are subject to weather. You can find the most up-to-date information for our events via Eventbrite or our Instagram (@scottsphotoroc). Photo walks run approximately 1 to 2 hours. Wear weather appropriate clothing and sturdy shoes. The route is subject to change, so please arrive at the designated meeting location at least 10 minutes before the start of the walk so you do not get left behind. Participants under 18 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult for the entirety of the event.
Waive and Release from Liability: By participating in this photo walk you acknowledge that you assume all risks and hazards incidental to the activities of the event. You further release, absolve, hold harmless, defend and indemnify Scott’s Photo and all individually named organizers, leaders, and participants of the event. In case of injury or damage to your equipment, you hereby waive all claims against all organizers, leaders, and participants.
Photo/Video Waiver: By attending this photo walk you hereby grant permission to Scott's Photo and participants of this event to take photos or videos of you in connection with the event listed above, with or without your name, and for any lawful purpose including publicity, portfolios, advertising, marketing materials and web content.
