Join us at the Hausmann Nature Center at Lapham Peak for a fun and inspiring photography meet-up!
We’ll start by gathering as a group in front of the Nature Center, then make our way directly to the Butterfly Garden, where you'll have the chance to practice close-up photography in a beautiful natural setting. Art’s expert staff will be on hand to offer guidance and tips throughout the meet-up.
Please note: the route includes both paved and gravel trails, with a few moderately steep hills.
Rental Discount:
We are offering 50% off weekend rentals for registered attendees! The discount applies to camera and lens rentals used for this event. Rentals must be returned by Monday July 13th. Regular rental terms and conditions apply. Event registration must be confirmed prior to finalizing the booking. You will receive a rental code to book online in your registration confirmation email, or can call the store or stop in for consultation first - we'd love to help guide you in your gear selections!

Parking:

There are handicap parking spots in front of the Hausmann Nature Center if needed.

What should I bring?
- Camera with memory card and fully charged battery
- We recommend macro and/or telephoto lenses for this session
- Monopod or tripod (optional, but helpful with telephoto lenses)
- Macro accessories such as a focusing rail, extension tubes, reflector, and shutter release
- Weather appropriate footwear and clothing
