Come and join us as we explore and photograph the Bang Rak subdistrict with a model. We were last in Bang Rak district for walk #121 in January 2024 (https://issuhub.com/view/index/233809) but we will be much closer to the river for this one, taking advantage of the historical buildings and extensive street art as backdrops for our guest model.
This will be our first walk with a model since #131 in December 2024 (https://issuhub.com/view/index/235281) and only our third in total. Those keen to work with a model can stick close to Chutima during the walk for help with directing and shooting her. If you would prefer to focus on your street photography, Mark will still be at the head of the group and Ben at the tail.
Our route will take us to the Chiao Eng Biao Shrine, though a market just north of there, around Wat Suan Phlu, past the unusual architecture of the Embassy of France and the General Post Office, taking a slight diversion to the street art on Charoen Krung 32, through Warehouse 30, then looping around past River City to end at ATT 19 Café and Gallery.
Charge your batteries and bring empty memory cards. You'll love this walk! We welcome people of all skill levels with all kinds of cameras, from phones to DSLRs, digital or film.
Join us October 12 at 8:30 am at Exit 1 of Saphan Taksin BTS station. After the walk, you will be invited to send us your favourite photos by October 19.
