Slow down and explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park through the lens of a camera!

Join NPS volunteer photographer Rick Santich for a photo scavenger hunt on the Kendall Lake Trail during peak fall colors.

Discover how to tell stories with your photos and learn some photography basics while exploring this area of the park.

After the scavenger hunt, participants will have the chance to share their photos to see each other's unique point of view.

  • All skill levels welcome.
  • Bring your own smartphone or camera.
  • The hike will be less than two miles at your own pace on flat terrain.

About Rick Santich

Rick is a volunteer photographer for the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. His photos are frequently used on the Park's social media, website, and printed materials. The Park asks Rick to help tell the story of CVNP.

For 29 years, Rick owned and operated MotoPhoto/ProEventPhoto. The business offered photo printing, family portraits, school pictures, and sports team and individual pictures. Additionally, ProEventPhoto excelled in sports action photography and was recognized for its photo, video, and livestreaming services for major national figure skating and cheerleading events, including those presented by US Figure Skating. He is an accomplished landscape photographer with his work presented in numerous photography exhibitions.
