Trader
Trader is an Aarhus-based band that pursues a noisy and adventurous breed of indie rock and has, since 2019, released one EP and two albums. The band has toured in Denmark, Sweden and several other European countries and has, among other things, played at the Left of the Dial festival in Rotterdam. After releasing “Their Best Work So Far” in 2022 and following an intense period of touring, the three band members — Anders, Kristian and Joakim — found it necessary to step back from Trader and turn their attention to other parts of life.
Now, Trader is ready with new music again and will release the EP “Hoodie” on May 8 2026. The music captures the feeling of standing between the old and the new and stems from the three band members’ ways of reflecting on, and responding, to each other’s life crises and triumphs — a place where each of them tries to hold on to what they know while making room for a new version of themselves. “Hoodie” gathers these themes into a down-to-earth expression, where vulnerability, self-reflection and everyday life intertwine to form a picture of what it feels like for Trader to be in the midst of change and trying to navigate it — both as a band and on a personal level.

Meant
Dear friend, Have you heard of Meant? They’re this super cool band consisting of 5 fresh-faced veterans of the Copenhagen music scene. Actually that’s not true – one of them has never even played in a band apparently? I think it’s the singer which could be great or terrible, there’s no way to know unless you see it in person for yourself. I think you’d like their stuff! It’s jangly and hopeful but also a bit sad? Like, there’s songs that you could bop in a car but have these little moments that could make you shed a tear. Just cause I know you like 80s indie guitar jangly bands, like all that stuff off of Flying Nun records.
