PHOENIX FLIES 2025 | Guided Tour of Central Presbyterian Church

The Central Presbyterian Church campus consists of four attached buildings on a 1.1 acre site, three of which are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Sanctuary building and the Rand Chapel are in the English Gothic Style and feature the original semi-circular arrangement of oak pews and extensive application of Victorian stained glass. The Rand Chapel presents a more intimate and somber English Gothic setting with stained glass. The Campbell-Eagan Building with a style that reflects both Jacobean and Tudor Revival that was popular at the time. The Oglesby Building, while not listed on the NRHP, was designed by the noted Atlanta architectural firm of Finch, Alexander, Barnes, Rothschild and Pascal, and constructed in a contemporary style.
