Phoenix Day

Phoenix Day is GLIDE’s very own Sunday Streets celebration, happening on Sunday, October 19th from 11:00am to 3:00pm! This family-friendly, carnival-style event brings the community together for fun, celebration, and connection. It includes no-cost food, activities, and prizes. Highlights include:

• Double Dutch
• Dunk Tank
• Hammer Strikes
• Kid Cars
• A Cultural Celebration
• Services and resources from GLIDE and partner programs
• Job recruitment and on site interviewing

On the stage, you will be able to enjoy a DJ Dance Party, speeches from dignitaries including Supervisor Bilal Mahmood, a performance by the GLIDE ensemble, another by the Glidettes, and a Community Awards ceremony. Booths with free activities and prizes include the Exploratorium, Dollhouse Day, and more.
