This training course is delivered by Healthcare Professionals with many years of on-the-job experience and who can guide you through the theoretical and practical elements of this essential healthcare skill, and answer any questions that may arise during your training.
Venepuncture and phlebotomy go hand-in hand, so our courses cover both the puncturing of a vein (venepuncture) and the process of drawing blood from the venepuncture site (phlebotomy).
Our training course is for healthcare staff (Nurses, HCA’s, Senior Care Assistants and medical staff) that is required to take blood samples from service-users.
Our course is aimed at healthcare professionals who wish to learn Phlebotomy and Training as a new skill, or for staff who have previously trained but require a refresher course to update their existing knowledge in line with the latest best practice guidelines.
