At Passion4Training, we deliver an Accredited Phlebotomy (Venepuncture) & Simulated Practice Train the Trainer Course in small, focused groups at our Birmingham training centre.

We are committed to developing confident, capable trainers who can deliver high-quality phlebotomy training within their own organisations.

This course is designed to provide a practical, engaging, and supportive learning experience, combining preparation with hands-on classroom training.

Prior to attending, you will complete structured preparation to support your learning.

You will receive a Micro-Teach Preparation Pack (14 days before) including:

• Lesson planning guidance
• Research tasks based on:
• Skills for Health CHS132
• WHO Best Practice Guidelines
• Your workplace policies

🎤 Your 10-minute micro-teach will include:

• Definition of phlebotomy
• Communication, consent & record-keeping
• Personal or observed experience
• Promoting best practice within the workplace

Delivered by expert trainers, including:

✔ Approved Train the Trainer presentation
✔ Micro-teach delivery & formal assessment
✔ Group discussions and reflective learning
✔ Practical assessment: Simulated venepuncture
✔ Final written assessment (75% pass mark)
✔ Continuous assessment throughout

To enrol, you must:

✔ Hold a Level 3 qualification or above (or be a Phlebotomist, Nurse, or Healthcare Professional)
✔ Have completed a Phlebotomy/Venepuncture course (CPD certificate required)
✔ Have 1–2 years practical experience and be currently practising

If your certificate is not up to date, you will complete our Phlebotomy & Simulated Practice Course as part of this programme.

• Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Competence

Our training centre is easily accessible via public transport. Our training centre is located by the Jewellery Quarter Train Station which is a 5-minute walk to Hylton Street.

If driving, parking is available nearby. Recommended car parks (average cost £5.50/day):

There are various car parks available in the Jewellery Quarter and you can download the apps Ring Go or Parkopedia which will show you available car parking and cost in the area.
