About this Event
This year marks 11 incredible years of Philly Connect® , and there’s no better way to celebrate than spending the day together at the beach.
Philly Connect® has grown into a thriving community built on faith, friendship, and belonging. Through Bible studies, social events, service opportunities, and shared experiences, we’ve watched God bring people together from all walks of life. This Beach Day is a chance to celebrate that journey, make new memories, and welcome new faces into the community.
Come ready to unwind and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach.
What to bring:
- Beach chair or blanket
- Swimsuit (if you plan to swim)
- Towel
- Sunscreen
- Hat and sunglasses
- Water
- Snacks
- Beach games (volleyball, football, frisbee, etc.)
- Portable speaker (optional)
- Cash or card for nearby concessions, if available
- A friend! (Newcomers are always welcome.)
Note:
It is $5 per person to access the beach.
Dress comfortably for the weather.
Bring plenty of water and sunscreen.
Be mindful of the beach rules and help us keep the area clean by picking up after yourself.
There are plenty of amenities at the beach including bathrooms, wash stations, easy parking, etc.
