Phillip Island Community GP Run - Last Hurrah!
Advertisement
Well folks, given this is our last hurrah for the Phillip Island Community GP Run, we're going to play things a little differently...
There will be THREE final destinations...
1. You can head out to the track once we get to the turn off;
2. You can head into town and ride into the entertainment precinct; or
3. Follow the leader after we reach the precinct...hang a right...or u-turn at the roundabout (Traffic Dependent) and head on down to Kaotik Group, Factory 3/ 1 Shorland Way, in The Concourse for a "Meet & Greet", show off your bikes and how shiny they and even get a chance to have a giveaway. I think the last lot of instructions is fairly self explanatory - DM for queries if heading that route or ask at Caldermeade Farm on the day.
We ask that you please RSVP solely for catering and traffic management purposes.
Stands Up 11am Sharp!! Looking forward to a great ride. Route details to follow 🤘🙂
So...now for the beginning....
The ride will leave from Caldermeade Farm, 4385 South Gippsland Highway, Caldermeade 3984, with stands up at 11am.
Should you like to arrive early at Caldermeade Farm, you'll be greeted with a smile and doors will open at 8am. They'll be offering a special GP Breakfast - Brekkie roll & Coffee. Their full cafe will open at 9am for those that want a bigger brekkie.
The ride will continue along the Highway through to the Island with the option of heading off at the roundabout to multiple locations.
Make a day of it and head into town where retailers, Cafe owners, restauranters and publicans alike have been allocated the lower half of Thompson Ave early on to ease your belly or quench your thirst after the ride.
We would love to have many of you involved in our "Meet & Greet" as mentioned earlier as well.
Please note: This is solely a community and rider organised event and all riders ride at their own risk. Organisers, their partners and heirs will not be held accountable or be liable for any loss or injury incurred.
The MOTO GP Corporation and its affiliates are in no way associated with this event.
All bikes must be legal, roadworthy, registered and riders must have a valid licence.
We'd love your company and to go on a great ride. If people want to put various meeting points down before the actual one, please don't hesitate to do so and list them here on the event . We will be having assistance from Victoria Police for traffic management and ease of exit. or under discussion.
We will only be producing patches and tees after the event as previous years we have had multitudes left over. If you'd like to order one, please order & pay at Caldermeade Farm or at the Meet & Greet.
