Philip Bergman's Galena Bach Crawl is back for the 2nd annual installment!
The Dubuque Symphony Orchestra’s principal cellist, Philip Bergman, will play all six Suites for solo cello by J.S. Bach, one an hour, on the hour, each in a different venue in Galena. Attendees should feel free to join for one location, a few, or all six. The settings will be informal and attendance is free, though donations will be accepted. The Schedule for the day is as follows:
1PM: Suite I at the DeSoto House Hotel (Courtyard Restaurant)
2PM: Suite II at A Darkness Lovely
3PM: Suite III at Grateful Gourmet
4PM: Suite IV at Galena Cellars Winery in Downtown Galena
5PM: Suite V at Goerdts' Brewhaus
6PM: Suite VI at the Dowling House
Each Suite is between 18 and 30 minutes. There will be limited seating at some venues.
