Join the Philanthropy Council Wednesday, Feb. 4, noon to 2 p.m. at the Sierra Nevada Big Room for inspiring networking, great food and the opportunity to connect with fellow community members.What the event will include:
- Keynote talk by John Kobara, who has delivered speeches to many Fortune 500 companies
- Lunch
- Networking
- Contest with a chance for nonprofit executives to win a cash prize
The contest will give five organizations, drawn at random, an opportunity to give a two-minute "elevator pitch" about their organization to the crowd of donors and leaders. Then there will be an opportunity for the crowd to vote on who told the best story. The winning organization will be given $500 in cash. The other four each will receive $100.
