Formed in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 2019, the band has performed hundreds of shows at theatres, festivals, and concert series across the United States. Philadelphia Freedom brings a youthful and energetic portrayal of Elton and his legendary band, featuring excellent orchestrations and harmonies. Doug Delescavage is Elton John as he was in his 20's, with his awe-inspiring piano abilities, captivating voice, and inventive fashion sense. Doug and his top-notch band rival no one but Mr. Captain Fantastic himself; performing hits such as: Rocket Man, Crocodile Rock, I’m Still Standing, Don’t Let the Sun Go Down On Me, Bennie and the Jets, and of course, Philadelphia Freedom.
