This Friday evening at The Listyning Room will feature a full spin of Tom Waits' album, Rain Dogs.The album presents a series of vignettes about sailors, misfits, and other characters from an urban underbelly. Waits' distinct blend of cabaret, blues, and jazz, delivered with his signature rattling percussion and raw vocals, sounds great on our high-end sound system.
Rain Dogs is a key work in Waits' career, with each song telling a story. We'll hear everything from the swagger of "Jockey Full of Bourbon" to the melancholic "Time." If you're already a fan or new to his music, this is a good opportunity to hear this essential album exactly as it was meant to be heard. Hope to see you at The Listyning Room.

Doors open at 6:30pm, the main program starts at 7:00pm. All the music is played on The Listyning Room's world-class stereo system featuring Audio Note, Klipsch and Cambridge Audio.
