Join us for a garden volunteer day at Pleasant Hill Elementary!

About the Garden Program: Growing Healthy Kids is a long running favorite of students and families at Pleasant Hill Elementary! In garden class, students at all grade levels have the opportunity to study and connect with the nature. Growing Healthy Kids proven curriculum turns the world into a safe learning environment where students can taste new foods, observe new phenomena, and get their hands dirty. To make this possible, Growing Healthy Kids has been grateful to work with families, school staff, organization partners, and community members to build the Pleasant Hill Garden!

Help needed: At this work day, volunteers will work in the Garden...

• Mulching
• Trimming
• Planting
• Painting pavers
• Sprucing up garden areas throughout PHE!

Access Notes: Volunteers will have access to shade and water. Access to a bathroom is uncertain. If you have other questions about accessibility, please reach out to our team!

You should Bring: Please wear comfortable garden work clothes that can get dirty. Wear closed-toed shoes. For your comfort, bring water bottles, garden gloves, and sun protection.
