PhD Festival 2026 : Symposium and Moving Image Screening

A showcase of creative work-in-progress by doctoral researchers at Camberwell, Chelsea, and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts
About this Event

Doctoral research takes many forms. This afternoon brings different approaches to research into conversation.

The PhD Festival Symposium brings together doctoral researchers from Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts to share ideas and work emerging from their research.

The presentations reflect the different stages, approaches and forms that doctoral research takes across the colleges. Alongside the symposium, this year’s programme includes a Moving Image Research Screening.

The afternoon offers an opportunity to hear directly from our doctoral researchers and to consider the different ways their research is developed.

With contributions from: Yikai Bai, Ce Chen, Amelia Crouch, Tom Henry Harper, Yihan Ma, Margareta Kern, Sarah Page, Karen Piddington, Tina Rowe, Charlotte Yao, Zijing Zhao.

Part of PhD Festival 2026, the second annual festival of doctoral research across Camberwell, Chelsea and Wimbledon Colleges of Arts.
