PHASES by Jose not José: Opening Night

Join us November 6th from 5pm-9pm for the Opening Night of PHASES by Jose not José. This unique exhibition explores grief through the shifting phases of the moon, translating its stages into stone, sound, light, and interactive sculpture. Moving from shock and denial to anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance, the exhibition considers grief not as a linear passage, but as something cyclical—something we return to, move through, and carry with us.
Upstairs:
While you’re at Art Project Roanoke for November First Fridays, be sure to head upstairs and explore the resident artist studios! Meet artists Diane Patton, Angie Patton Poe, Sarah Parcell, Rachel Uchizono, and Leslie SantaPaul. See works in progress, explore their creative spaces, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what they’ve been working on. It’s a great opportunity to connect with local artists and experience more of what APR has to offer!
