PG Business Club:Stop Knocking, Start Unlocking: Sharpen Your Offer & Pitch
About this Event
Proper Good Business Club Stockport
This session is for organisations and businesses who are fed up of knocking on doors and getting nowhere and are ready to start unlocking the right ones.
Kate Gong (Willmott Dixon), will share straight-talking, practical insight on how to turn everyday conversations into real opportunities, whether that’s new partnerships, clients, contracts, or community impact. It’s not about asking louder, it’s about saying the right thing, spotting the gaps, and making it clear how what you offer can actually solve their problems.
She will examine where to focus your energy, including the support and opportunities coming through local developments and how both businesses and VCFSEs can position themselves to be part of that.
You’ll also get a quick, no-nonsense look at how AI is shaping applications, bids and decision-making.
Jane Montague (Jane Montague Consultancy) will help you develop a clear, confident and concise Elevator Pitch. Whether you’re wanting work, partnerships or support, being able to clearly explain your offer, and the difference it makes, is what opens doors.
And importantly, this isn’t just sit-and-listen. There will be plenty of opportunties to network and practice your new skills!
You’ll also take part in a Proper Good Community Soup, where Stockport VCFSE’s will pitch live for £500, and you decide who wins. It’s fast, real, and a great way to see what actually cuts through and what doesn’t.
Come along, bring your offer, and get ready to unlock a few doors.
