At 8 pm, in the main Keswick Theatre, WXPN Welcomes Travis with Akira Galaxy: Raze The Bar Tour at 8 pm. https://www.keswicktheatre.com/ for tickets and info. 291 N Keswick Ave, Glenside, PA 19038.

About MAC Artists
Railroad Wings is Julieann Ott and Rob Lincoln. Julieann writes rootsy pop “song-stories” that evoke introspective Americana superstars a la Patty Griffin. With vivid imagery and unexpected melodic turns, Ott hooks her listeners and takes them on an emotional ride. Seasoned performer and prolific songwriter Rob Lincoln adds his own special brand of magic to the duo’s sound. The multi instrumentalist brings a light hearted energy to their performances. https://tinyurl.com/julieann-musicnoth8
There’s a gritty, road-seasoned grace to the words and music of Larry Ahearn. His music is steeped in the classic singer-songwriter tradition, with folk and blues-based melodies framing poetically evocative lyrics that tell stories and paint pictures. Ahearn’s wealth of experience as a writer, performer, concert organizer and mentor to other performers informs every note of his music. His body of original tunes veers from introspective ballads to wry story-songs and rollicking highway anthems. Ahearn has shared the bill with artists including Tom Rush, Jimmy Buffett, Livingston Taylor, and Janis Ian. His first CD is due out in late spring, '25. https://larryahearn.com/
About Keswick Artists:
When the four members of the Scottish band Travis convene to make music, [Fran Healy (vocals, guitar); Andy Dunlop (guitar); Dougie Payne (bass) and Neil Primrose (drums)] the resulting sound is impossible to mistake for any other band. Still together, still honoring the unique chemistry that brought them together 28 years ago and 5,000 miles away, Travis’s unassumingly extraordinary body of work bears testament to that outlook. Their new release L.A. Times, is, by Fran’s own account, their "most personal album since The Man Who”, and the album’s ten tracks see their creator marking his 50th year on this planet by, inevitably, trying to make sense of the road traveled to this point. 24-year-old Los Angeles based singer Akira Galaxy cut her teeth as a musician while fronting high school bands in Seattle. In her songwriting and performance, she combines the grit and attitude of the alt-rock of her hometown with a sleeker, more transatlantic aesthetic. In the songs on her debut EP What’s Inside You, pure and unfiltered emotional connection is everything. In their romantic vortexes, nothing seems to be in question, and consummate mutual understanding feels possible. Akira writes soulful and atmospheric alternative pop songs about being lost in these kinds of states, inserting bittersweet or acidic asides. Instagram account
